INSPIRATIONS

If asked who were my favorite artists I’ve learned from college, they would be:  Diego Rivera, Georgia O’Keefe, Pablo Picasso, Beniamino Bufano, Ansel Adams, and Frank Lloyd Wright. As a sophomore in college, I also studied a course work in cinema and enjoyed studying the film works of Orson Wells and his film, Citizen Kane.  I had a desire to learn about computer art design and visual communications.  So I pursued my studies at ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard, CA.   I had completed my course studies and was awarded an Associate in Science degree in Visual Communications at ITT Technical Institute in June 2012.

I first started creating my design website as a graded final exam project when I was a student at ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard, California, under the partial funding of the G.I. Bill. My supervising course instructor was Professor Carlos Cordova from the period Spring 2010 through Spring 2012, and my program advisor was Josefina Boner.

Over the years, I’ve transitioned my web design project to a virtual and creative easel.  I’ve included various web links of designers and artists I’ve met from the days when I was a former resident of the San Francisco Bay area, designers who were formerly my classmates at ITT Technical Institute, and all sorts of artists in every spectrum who inspire self-expression and creativity. I’ve included links to festivals where artists sell their work.  I respect the ideals of freedom of speech, and I have included these links to my design page.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to members of the San Francisco AIGA community for the collaboration and learning experience they had provided during their 2020 AIGA Portfolio Fest Design Week in July.
